The TC News Blog Has Arrived!

Hello to all Members and Concert Goers!

This is our new blog which will be full of news, reviews and miscellaneous information regarding Trinity Camerata - Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire's small, high quality orchestra. We are based in Bicester and perform three concerts per year at St Edburg's church.  For more information about Trinity Camerata, concerts and smaller ensembles available for hire, please visit http://www.trinitycamerata.org/

Our next concert is on Sunday 22nd June at 3:45pm at St. Edburg's.  We will be tackling a demanding but wonderful programme.  Starting with the Don Giovanni Overture with those two now iconic chords by Mozart, we are then joined by the internationally renowned soloist Adelia Myslov performing Mendelssohn's Violin Concerto (Opus 64) and finally we will present Beethoven's tantalisingly hectic 8th Symphony.

Our first rehearsal required some serious concentration but was lots of fun and we did rather well!  Many thanks to Anna Fleming for stepping in as leader in Nancy's absence this concert and doing the bowing so quickly - that made all the difference.

In other news, Trinity has been fortunate enough to be awarded a significant grant in order to put on a family-friendly concert next season.  We sent two representatives along to the annual Mayor making ceremony at the John Paul II centre to collect it.  Below is a photo of us at the ceremony with our cheque (along with Pope John Paul).  Watch this space for more information on this concert, it is going to be so much fun for audience members and us, the orchestra.

And finally, best wishes to Ellie from the Violin's who is getting married very soon as well as committing so much time to our next concert.  Have a fabulous day - we want to see pictures as soon as possible!! xx
